Dental Radiology Certification Test Preparation (Course)
Dental Radiology Exam Prep Course Description
Our test prep course for the RHS features practice exams and focuses on identifying and explaining key concepts of the dental radiology exam. These concepts include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Radiographic techniques
- Film selection and examination
- Radiologic equipment and methods
- Quality of an exposure
- Paralleling and bisecting techniques
- Diagnostic quality
- Automatic processing, manual processing, and processing errors
- Mounting radiographs and anatomical landmarks
- Radiation safety
Upon completion of Brightwood Career Institute's Dental Radiology Certification Test Preparation course, students should understand the following:
- Radiology terminology and techniques
- Radiograph exposure and processing under the supervision of a dentist in a dental practice
Students who complete the course will receive a certificate of completion from Brightwood Career Institute.
Brightwood Career Institute is an institution of higher education providing continuing education courses to the local community.
Note: This is a non-credit-bearing course. Students must not assume that this course will be accepted for transfer credit at another institution. This course does not qualify for Title IV federal financial aid funds.
